Two men dressed in [auth] red assault another victim
Police were called to the 400 block of North Virginia Avenue, Thursday, to take a report of battery. The victim stated that he was outside Allsup’s at the corner of McGaffey Street and Lea Avenue when he was approached by two men dressed all in red — red shoes, red shirt, red shorts and red bandana. The victim reported that one of the men grabbed him by the throat, and the victim punched him. The subject was so startled that he lost his grip, and the two ran away. This is the second assault/battery incident in two days where the subject was described as being dressed completely in red.

Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Hahn Street, Thursday, where the caller stated that she had $7,300 worth of jewelery stolen from her home.

Criminal damage
•Police received a report of criminal damage, Thursday. The victim stated she was parked in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue around 5:30 p.m. When she returned to her car she found something had hit her windshield causing it to crack.
•Police were called to the 1000 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue, Thursday, after subjects attempted to gain entry into a vehicle breaking the right rear window and right door vent window. The victim reported that nothing was stolen.
