Special stamping class set for Senior Circle and story time at the library

Peggy Seskey will be teaching a rubber stamping class Sept. 7, at Senior Circle. An experienced and creative instructor, she teaches at Senior Circle every first and third Wednesday. Senior Circle is in the Wilshire Center, 2801 N. Main St. All members are welcome as are prospective members. The stamping group meets at 9:30 a.m. every Wednesday. Public Library

Southern New Mexico Medical Conference 2011
The Southern New Mexico Medical Conference 2011 will be held at the Roswell Convention Center, 912 N. Main, Sept. 9, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a wine and cheese reception from 5-7 p.m. On Sept. 10, at 9 a.m. there will be a tour of ENMMC. Carrie Tingley Clinic
Children in the Roswell area with orthopaedic problems can be scheduled for an outreach clinic on Sept. 9. Physicians from Carrie Tingley Hospital at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center will examine patients at Children’s Medical Services, 200 East Chisum. Children and young adults up to the age of 21 with chronic physical problems or difficulty with bones, joints and/or muscles, may be scheduled for appointments.
