Firearms, tools missing after break-in
•Police were dispatched to the 900 block of North Missouri Avenue, Tuesday, after subjects forced the front door and entered a residence. The victim reported that a 1942 Ruger .22 caliber long barrel, Ruger .22 long barrel 1953 model, a Remington side-by-side stagecoach 12-gauge shotgun, a DeWalt tile cutter, a Dewalt jigsaw and Dewalt bandsaw were missing. The [auth] items are valued at $2,598.
•Police were called to the 3000 block of Vassar Drive, Tuesday, after someone gained access to a house and took 20 blouses, 5 pairs of jeans, 9 pairs of boots, a television remote, some prescription medication and two watches. Total value of missing items is estimated at $769.

Police were called to the 1500 block of Union Avenue, Tuesday, where subjects removed the fence from the north and west sides of the property, along with the air conditioner for a residence. The subjects seen at the location were described as a white male and a black male. The residence has been placed on close patrol.

Police were dispatched Pecos Elementary School, 600 E. Hobbs St., Tuesday, after a 10-year-old female student threatened a teacher. The student had been disciplined, and she allegedly reported it to her mother, who said she was “going to take care of the teacher.”
