Tahoe passenger fires on homeless men
Police responded to a call of shots fired at 3701 N. Main St., Tuesday, where the officers spoke with two homeless men. They reported that a subject driving a white Tahoe stopped and began to argue with them. Then someone in the vehicle discharged a weapon. The victims did not want to file a report or press charges.
Police were dispatched to the 300 block of East Hervey Street, Tuesday, after a subject or subjects gained entry into an unlocked vehicle and removed a black-and-white canvas purse containing a Sanyo cell phone, driver’s license, bank and charge cards and Social Security card. Estimated value of missing items is $115.
Police were called to the 900 block of East Second Street, Tuesday. The victim reported that the passenger door on a car had been keyed when it was parked at the Roswell Mall, 4501 N. Main St., causing $500 worth of damage.
Police were dispatched to the 300 block of South Sequoia Avenue, Tuesday, after a resident discovered that a red-and-black Craftsman lawnmower, a weedeater and an extension cord were stolen. Items were valued at $350.
