Couple steal beer from Allsup’s
A man and a woman, described as Hispanic and in their 20s or 30s, walked into the Allsup’s Convenience Store on SE Main Street and took cases of beer without paying, Tuesday. Witnesses said the man took an 18-pack of Bud Light and the woman took an 18-pack of Bud Light and an 18-pack of Budweiser. One witness grabbed the woman as the couple left and the woman dropped the beer, breaking the bottles. The couple left in a silver Ford [auth] Escort station wagon and the license plate was noted by one of the witnesses. Police will obtain a photo array of the registered owner of the vehicle.

Home Burglaries
• A Roswell woman told police that she is missing $1,475 worth of jewelry from her residence on the 600 block of Golondrina Drive. Close patrol of the area has been requested.
• A burglary on the 500 block of Hermosa Drive has set back plans to renovate a home, a man told police. A man who was going to fix the home had paint, cement, grout, and hand tools stolen from the residence sometime in the past week. A broken window will cost $80 to fix, and the supplies will cost $89 to replace.

Vehicle Burglary
A Roswell woman told police she had $530 worth of entertainment equipment stolen from her 2000 Chevy Malibu either on Monday or Tuesday. One of the vehicle’s rear windows was broken. A dual CD player, a Kenwood 1000-watt amplifier and two 10-inch kicker speakers were taken.

A Roswell man told police he had two fraudulent transactions charged on his credit card. The incidents were reported Tuesday. Both charges were done online. The victim does not know how another party gained access to his credit card information. One charge was in the amount of $266; the other, $49.
