Swim classes for the summer are now available at Cahoon Park swimming pool. Each class cons[auth] ists of a two-week session that meets every day for 30 minutes. Cost: $25 (Register the Monday before each session.) Registration takes place June 13-20 for the first session: Session 1: June 20 through July 1; Session 2: Register: July 5- July 11. Class begins July 11 through July 22. In addition to regular pool hours, Cahoon Park swimming pool is available for open swim Monday through Sunday from 1-5:30 p.m. Cost to swim is $3 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under. Zoo Camp 2011
The Spring River Zoo will be offering one week of learning about the zoo and its animals. This is open for 11 and 12 year-olds only. It begins June 13 through June 17. The second session begins July 11 through July 15 at 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Itâ€™s $50 per camper, but due to a benefactor there are half scholarships available. For more information call 624-6700
Free Immunization Clinic
The New Mexico Department of Health and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico (BCBSNM) are offering free childhood immunizations on June 15, at the McDonaldâ€™s UFO Restaurant from 8 a.m. to noon.
