Battery on ball field after game

•Police received a walk-in report of a battery, Friday, at Noon Optimist baseball field, 1600 N. Montana Ave. The incident occurred after a Little League game. One team chose to stay and continue to play. A member of the opposing team asked if he could join the game. He was grabbed [auth] by the shirt and slapped by a member of the other team.

Criminal damage

•Police were called to the Walmart parking lot, 4500 N. Main St., Thursday. The victim wanted to report damages as the result of an accident. When of ficers arrived on the scene, they noted that damage to the driver’s door could not have been caused by a vehicle hitting the car, but by some sort of blunt object. Officials concluded that this was a deliberate act.

•Police were dispatched to Wells Fargo Bank, 1401 S. Main St., Thursday, after a woman returned to her vehicle to find the door ajar and the interior door handle damaged.

•Police were dispatched to the 900 block of North Greenwood Avenue, Thursday, where subjects shot out the windows of a truck with a BB gun.
