â€¢Police were called to Kmart, 1705 S. Main St., Thursday, after two male subjects threatened the loss prevention officer with a gun. The victim said he was in the parking lot observing a group of male subjects. He went to his vehicle to retrieve something and when he looked up, he discovered a van had pulled up behind his vehicle. One of the subjects asked if he had found anything good â€œlike thisâ€ and pointed a gun at him.
â€¢Police were dispatched to the 100 block of East Summit Street, Thursday, where two woman got into a physical fight over a parking space. A third person tried to get between the two subjects and was punched in the face.
â€¢Police were called to the 1600 block of South Michigan Avenue, Thursday, for a combined vehicle-residential burglary. Subjects removed an Alpine digital player, a JL audio subwoofer, an Easter audio subwoofer and a pair of Oakley sunglasses from the vehicle. They then broke the rear sliding door into the residence and removed a Remington 270 pump action shotgun, a Rock River with bull barrel AR, a Mossberg Maverick 1200 gauge, a Gamo Whisper pellet gun, a 55-inch Samsung TV, an Xbox 360, a Marantz center channel speaker and a Gateway laptop computer. Total value of stolen items is estimated at $8,300, with damages estimated at $450.
â€¢Police were dispatched to Broken Arrow Road, Thursday, after subjects removed a Miller Blue Star Welder, worth $1,620.42, from a vehicle.
â€¢Police were dispatched to the 300 block of South Beech Avenue, Wednesday, where a subject broke a window to gain entry into a residence and removed a 30-inch flat screen Emerson TV, an Xbox 360 with two controllers, 35 games and a cup containing coins. The value of missing items is estimated at $1,080.
â€¢Police were called to the 2000 block of North Louisiana Avenue, Wednesday, after someone siphoned gas from a parked truck. The victim stated that he had a full tank of gas when he parked the previous night. When he returned to his vehicle half the gas, valued at $50, was gone. Examination revealed the screws had been removed from the filler neck to his vehicle. Cost of repairs is estimated at $100.
â€¢Police were dispatched to Billy Mitchell Place, Wednesday. The victim reported she heard a loud noise and saw a male subject riding off on her sonâ€™s bicycle, worth $150. He was followed by a second male subject on foot.
â€¢Police were called to the 900 block of West 13th Street, Thursday. The victim was awakened during the night by â€œa noise like the sound of a vase breaking.â€ The individual looked outside and saw nothing. The following morning, he discovered four spent shell casings outside the residence.
