Burglary Reported

•Police were called to the 900 block of West Wildy Street on Saturday, after two children were jumped by several other juveniles at a baseball game held at Valley View Elementary. One of the two children was also shot with an air gun.


•Police were called to the 1500 block of West Albuquerque Street on Sunday. The victim reported that he had held a garage sale on Saturday. The subjects entered his yard and removed a leather jacket, leather [auth] chaps and a 12-volt battery. Total value of items is estimated at $200.


•Police were dispatched to Riverside Drive on Sunday, where someone gained entry into a residence through the kitchen window and removed three cases of CDs and movies, a Playstation, a computer printer, an undisclosed amount of jewelry and some ornamental swords. The estimated value of the stolen items is $1,450.

•Police were called to Westlake Hardware, 2801 N. Main St., on Sunday. A Paulson high wheel lawn mower, worth $200, and one or two Bond water fountains, valued at $200 each, were reported as stolen. The male subjects were caught on surveillance video.

•Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of South Kentucky Avenue on Sunday, where a little after midnight the residents arrived to hear a car speeding away. The victims found the front door damaged and a 51-inch Samsung television, worth $1,500, removed from the residence. Cost of repairs to front door is estimated at $1,000.

•Police were called to the 700 block of South Aspen Avenue on Saturday, to take a report of a burglary. The incident occurred on the 300 block of East Reed Street. A car battery, a diamond necklace, $500 worth of currency, an AM/FM radio and a water pump were reported stolen.
