Criminal Damage

•Police were called to Enterprise Rent A Car, 1017 S. Main St., Thursday. On one of the vehicles, the right rear door was dented and the right rear window had been smashed with a rock. Damages were estimated at $700.

Lost property

•Police were dispatched to the 200 block of South Stanton Avenue, Friday, after a man left a blue steel Taurus PT 38 super shot [auth] semi-automatic weapon in the glove box of another man’s vehicle. The individual filing the report said that he had been trying to call the other individual but had been unable to reach him.

Counterfeit money

•Police received a walk-in report, Thursday, about a counterfeit $100 bill being passed on March 22. The report did not indicate where the incident occurred.


•Police were called to the 3100 block of North Main Street, Thursday, where 24 sheets of roofing metal, worth $1,500, had been removed from a job site.


•Police received several reports, Wednesday evening, about shots fired in the area around Summit Street and Richardson Avenue. Officers found nothing when they arrived at the scene. However, officials later contacted the victim, who said she was parked on the west side of Richardson facing Summit when someone in a green low-rider Chrysler 4-door, with plates LLW757 shot at her car.

•Police were called to the 800 block of South Richardson Avenue, Thursday, about damage to property caused by bullet impacts.
